IC4ML is proud of our two awards established in honor of one of our founders and a longtime leader. 

The Marieli Rowe Innovation in Media Literacy Education Award was created in 2022 in honor of Marieli Rowe, our longtime Executive Director and Editor, who championed a future forward vision for our organization.

The Jessie McCanse Award for Significant Contributions to the Field of Media Literacy Education was established in 1987 to recognize the high principles and practices of our co-founder, Jessie McCanse, who laid the foundation on which we stand today.
