Andrea DeGette is a full-time teacher, award-winning filmmaker, consultant, and mother of three children—all of which support her passion for media literacy in education. DeGette graduated from NYU Film School and Duke University, MA. She has lived and taught in historic Hillsborough, NC since 1994 and works continuously to bring media literacy to students and citizens both locally and globally.
