Visiting scholar at KULeuven, Belgium, (Coimbra Group Scholarship Programme for Young Professors and Researchers from Latin American Universities). Editor-in-chief of the scientific journal Contratexto. He is educational advisor for Telefónica Movistar Foundation and consultant for UNESCO Perú regarding MIL policies. His works explore media education in initial teacher training as well as the impact of digital culture in schools. Author of the book Educación mediática. Emergencia y urgencia de un aprendizaje pendiente (Universidad de Lima, 2022) and co-editor of Media Education in Latin America (Routledge, 2019). He has published in journals such as Comunicar, Culture & Education, New Approaches in Educational Research, The Journal of Media Literacy, and International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education, among others.
