Director of Professional Development ProgramsEducational Video Center in New York CityMary Grueser is the Director of Professional Development Programs and the We are All Connected program at Educational Video Center in New York City. At Educational Video Center, Mary oversees youth documentary filmmaking programming and the implementation of EVC’s internationally recognized curriculum in partnership with public high schools and nonprofits across New York City and beyond. She holds an M.A. in Media and Human Rights in International Affairs from The New School. Her professional experience includes working as a public high school Spanish teacher and summer ESL instructor for migrant workers in Appalachia, serving as a facilitator of sustainable development and social justice curricula in Central America with Augsburg College's Center for Global Education and collaborating as a youth media instructor in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
