Associate Professor of EducationKing's CollegeDr. Sunny Minelli Weiland is an Associate Professor and Program Director for the Graduate Education Program for Curriculum and Instruction, the STEM and ESL Endorsement programs, the Principal Certification Program and the Superintendent Letter of Eligibility Certification Program at King’s College. Dr. Weiland joined the King’s College Education Department Faculty in the 2012 academic year. Prior to coming to King’s, she worked for 14 years in public education in a variety of capacities including high school science and Chemistry teacher, a secondary administrator, a curriculum specialist, and a director of curriculum and instruction. Dr. Weiland teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in science and STEM educational practices, assessment, curriculum and instruction, current issues in education, and chemistry. Dr. Weiland also supervises teacher candidates and serves as a mentor for graduate students completing capstone projects.
